Who We Are

Tim, Liz and Emme Harrington (Three Farmers) operate a farm business covering approximately 1000 acres at Fosterville in Central Victoria. The property runs along the Campaspe River with a mix of river flats and undulating loam soils.   The farm, known as ‘Lucerne Grove’, has been in the Harrington family for over 120 years and is possibly most well known for its Shorthorn cattle and lucerne production.

What We Do

Our farm enterprise includes:

  • a self-replacing commercial shorthorn herd for production of calves for the vealer and feedlot markets;
  • a commercial merino ewe flock for breeding first cross lambs for the prime lamb market;
  • lucerne hay production (both by irrigation and dryland);
  • broadacre cropping for grain and hay, including crop rotations of wheat, oats, barley and triticale;
  • a fully self-contained house available for short-term and longer stay accommodation.
